This Komon (small pattern) Kimono features a cute pattern of red leaves on a light purple background. The red leaf (maple) pattern is tie-dyed, giving it a raised effect. Tie dying is a very labor-intensive process. The fabric is silk and has a smooth feel next to the skin. The red maple leaves are a symbol of autumn in Japan. This Kimono is excellent as an ornament for October through November. There are several soiled areas as shown in the photographs, but most of them on the outer material are not noticeable. The soiling present overall on the lining is a common characteristic of old Kimonos and is not a problem. If the lining bothers you, you can remove it after purchasing the Kimono.

淡い黄色に紅葉の柄が可愛い袷の小紋着物です。紅葉（楓）の模様は絞りになっているため、立体感があります。絞り染めはとても手間がかかる作業です。繊維はシルクで、滑らかな肌ざわりです。紅葉（楓）は日本では秋の象徴です。10月〜11月ぐらいのオーナメントとしてぴったりです。写真にあるように、いくつかの汚れは見られますが、表地はほとんど目立ちません。裏地の全体的な汚れは古い着物にはよく見られる特徴で、着る分には問題ありません。しかし、気になる方は購入後にご自身で裏地を取り去ってしまうことも可能です。
